Hi, I’m Joan. Since 1992, I have been a proud member of the Area Dental Clinic team. I value the relationships I’ve developed with my patients over the years, as they have become like family. I love working with all ages of patients, young to elderly, and find I have an especially strong connection with the adolescent age group. It is so rewarding to develop a rapport and have the opportunity to educate them about how their decisions as teenagers affect their long-term oral health.
My husband, Gregg, and I live in Lebanon and love the outdoors. We enjoy working together on projects, sometimes with our 2 grown daughters. If not with them or in the office, you can usually find me singing, decorating, and working in our gardens.

Hi, my name is Joanne. Since 1987, I have been a dental hygienist at Area Dental Clinic in Watertown. Originally from Watertown and now living in Beaver Dam, I appreciate the wonderful people of our communities and feel so fortunate to have served so many of them as their hygienist. I have always been passionate about quality patient care and enjoy teaming with our patients to achieve optimal dental health and wellness. In addition, I highly value the family-like, personal relationships I’ve established through the years, with both my patients and team members.

Hello. I am a graduate of Ferris State University and, after working at various other dental offices, I found my dental home when I joined Area Dental team in 1997. I have experienced many changes and developments in the treatment of dental disease over the years but have never been more excited to be a part of the dental profession than I am right now. I am passionate about learning, teaching, and advancing my professional skill set, recently adding sleep deprived breathing evaluation (sleep tests) with treatment options to my repertoire…which I LOVE! I consider the review and discussion of my patient’s medical history to be a crucial part of their appointment due to the fact that it may shed light on other serious health concerns.
I live on 200 acre with my husband and love, not only gardening, but also identifying anything and have a plethora of ID books to prove it! My grandgirls have priority time in my life and I sing whenever and wherever I can, ofttimes to my patients!

Hello, I am Liesl. I joined the Area Dental Clinic team in January of 2023, and I am proud to say that I work with such a great team. What I love most about working in the dental field is that I get to help people achieve and maintain their oral health goals, as well as build relationships with all our patients. In the dental field, patients return at least every 6 months lending itself to a unique type of health care relationship that I truly enjoy. The combination of such amazing patients as well as team members makes it a privilege to come to work every day.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my favorite people in the world (my family), walking my dog (Idgie), pretty much anything outdoors (except in the winter), and listening to live music.

With 3+ decades of experience with ADC, I enjoy caring for multiple generations of families and especially look forward to meeting the needs of the senior population with whom I have grown. My husband, John, and I have been married for 40 years and live in Watertown. We cherish time with our family, including our granddaughter, Colette Grace. In my free time, I enjoy being a pianist/church musician at Immanuel Lutheran of Lebanon and traveling.

Hello. My name is Stasia and I am a dental hygienist in our Watertown and Jefferson locations. I have been proudly working in the dental field since 1996 and joined the Area Dental team in 2012. When not taking care of patients, I teach dental hygiene at Waukesha County Technical College in Waukesha. Education is truly my passion and I enjoy the opportunity to educate patients, so they have the opportunity to make choices to achieve and maintain their dental health. I also have been given the opportunity to help train new members of our clinical team to ensure successful onboarding and excellent patient experiences.
I live in Watertown with my daughter. Together, we enjoy making memories, which includes plenty of outdoor activities, anything to do with horses, camping, and doing craft projects.

Hello! I am Sylvia; I joined the Area Dental team in April of 2023, starting as a hygienist extern while attending dental hygiene school at Madison College. I’m so grateful Area Dental offers this program to new grads, because it ultimately set me up for success. Once I graduated and received my official licensure, I had a smooth transition coming on as a full time dental hygienist!
When choosing career paths, I always knew I wanted something in health care because I find fulfillment in helping others. I am passionate about patient education and empowering patients with information regarding prevention and promotion of healthy habits. Not only do hygienists clean teeth, we provide the tools and knowledge to maintain your oral health when you leave our chair. I think it’s very important to keep patients in the loop with their oral health. As a hygienist, it is not our job to be judgmental, our job is to guide our patients and help them accordingly. This career requires compassion and understanding and I provide my patients with just that!

Hello, I’m Tanya. I have been a hygienist on the Area Dental team since 2011. My biggest passion is education, personally and professionally. My goal is to empower our patients by helping them understand the treatment plan, answer their questions, and to make them feel comfortable throughout their visit. Hello! My name is Carrie. I found my home at Area Dental in January 2021. I started out working on the front desk team, as a receptionist, hygiene coordinator, and treatment coordinator. I have transitioned to the clinical team and now serve patients as a dental assistant. There are many things I love about each position I’ve had; but what I love the most is having the opportunity to provide excellent patient service, no matter what I’m doing. I firmly believe in treating every patient that walks through our door with patience, kindness, and compassion. I love having the opportunity to help somebody gain their confidence back with their smile, and to see a happy patient leave the clinic. My long-term goal is to one day work with Area Dental as a Hygienist. I love having the privilege to work with such an outstanding and caring team.

I have been married to my loving husband, Steve, for over 30 years and have 3 adult children, with whom I treasure spending time and making memories. We also have a yellow lab, 2 cats, and 2 grand-cats. Hi, my name is Jailine. I am proud to serve our patients as a dental assistant in all of our locations, though you’ll mostly find me at our Jefferson location. I have been a patient at Area Dental Clinic since 2005 and, with each visit, my interest in becoming part of the dental field grew. I joined the team in 2018 while pursuing dental hygiene at WCTC, before realizing I have a passion for and wanted to continue to grow in dental assisting. I really enjoy the variety of each day, each patient, and every case, working closely with our dedicated dentists and providing Spanish translation when needed. I love seeing patients’ smiles and confidence transform, and the opportunity to be there with them each step of the way. I recognize that some patients feel a lot of anxiety when they come to the dental office, so I enjoy developing a rapport with them, in order to ease their anxiety, build trust, and provide a wonderful patient experience. I believe creating positive experiences encourages patients to continue making regular dental visits and keep their smiles healthy. Likewise, something I love about working here is the opportunity to learn new things each day, whether it’s dental related or something a patient tells me.
Outside of work I love to spend time with my husband, Beto. I love the summer time! I enjoy trying new things, such as: fishing, attending fairs, jet skiing, rodeos & pretty much anything outdoors! I also love to spend time with my family. I cherish the moments I get with them because making memories is something I am able to treasure forever. I’m a Watertown native who also spent several years living in Madison and Milwaukee for school, work, and fun. In 1996, I graduated from the dental assistant program at MATC. I have experience in general dentistry and oral surgery. I’m truly grateful to Area Dental for giving me the opportunity to continue doing what I enjoy with such a friendly team.
My husband and I have two children and live in Watertown. During the summer, my family and I often can be found boating or kayaking. Cooler months lead me to antique stores or game and movie nights with my family.

I was fortunate to find my passion early on and my professional family in Area Dental in 2010. I am proud to serve our patients at both the Watertown and Jefferson locations alongside all our talented and compassionate doctors and team. I appreciate how each patient’s needs differ and focus on providing them the best-individualized care as possible. It is exciting to see and be a part of a practice that welcomes new technology, which allows patients access to better care. My favorite piece of technology is the Trio Scanner for implants and crowns. I am proud of the work done at Area Dental and the friends who have become like family.
