Hello. My name is Dr. Mehran Mehrabi. I am excited for the opportunity to provide my clinical expertise and excellent patient care in a safe, friendly environment at Area Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. I have many years of service, both as a Board-Certified Oral Surgeon and a Veteran of the United States Air Force.
After obtaining my Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at Ursinus College, Pennsylvania in 1996, I went to Boston University and graduated No. 1 in my class in Dental Medicine. I then completed an internship in general surgery, and an oral surgery residency at Emory University. Prior to residing in Wisconsin, I served in the Air Force, stationed in Keesler Airforce base in Mississippi, as well as Balad Air Force base in Iraq. My experience includes providing oral surgery to soldiers and civilians in combat while serving in the Air Force. I was honorably discharged with the rank of Major.
Since 2009, I have been a resident of Wisconsin and have provided oral surgery to all ages in private group practice. Through presentations and publications, I contribute to continuous education in the dental and oral surgery field. My professional philosophy focuses on the role of oral health in detection and improvement of various system diseases. I understand a patient’s mouth and body are intermingled and optimizing health requires clear communication between a team of providers. I truly look forward to collaborating with you and your dentist and doctors.
Outside of the office, my wife and I enjoy trying out new restaurants, debating Eagle vs. Packer superiority, discussing politics, watching movies, going on road trips, and spoiling our pets. I appreciate the opportunity to serve you and provide you reasons to smile.
